FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA, DECEMBER 2, 2009 – HITT Contracting Inc. was the general contractor on three projects that received NAIOP Awards in 2009. HITT’s Headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia and the Hilton Headquarters in McLean, Virginia received an award of merit from NAIOP Northern Virginia Chapter. The British Petroleum America, Inc. / Government Affairs Office in Washington, DC received an award of excellence from the NAIOP Maryland/DC Chapter. All three projects are also designed to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) certification from the US Green Building Council.
HITT Headquarters, in Falls Church, Virginia, submitted by HITT Contracting Inc., won an award of merit from NAIOP Northern Virginia Chapter for “Best Building Build-to-Suit Non-Institutional Facility.” Team members included Fairview Property Investments, Rushmark Properties, LLC, Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers, Noritake Associates, Inc., and RedTeam Strategies.
